There are 4 types of seek pointers when reading a file .
-seekg()

-seekp()

-tellg()

-tellp();

seekg() is used to move the get pointer to a location respective to some location . It is used when reading from a file .

tellg() is used to know where the pointer is at current time …

seekp() and tellp() are used at write time.
