I think the results will be out tomorrow. There isn’t much chance for them to be declared today. Maybe we’ll have to wait till 6:00pm again for the results. I still don’t understand why they decided to declare the results separately as the contest was common for all regionals. Hope they won’t push it further.

I mailed regional contest director of Gwalior and they said that the result will be out by tomorrow (18th November) noon. This is the exact reply I got “Result will be declared by tomorrow (18-11-2017) noon.”

Our overall rank is 57. So now how do we check which center(Amritapuri or Coimbatore) will we get, as there might be some teams which would opt out, and due to which our center might change? Can anyone help us in knowing our center?

I contacted Hindustan University ( Chennai Site), they said results will be out by today afternoon , in the worst case they will declare it by tomorrow morning.

Is preference given to teams who have solved 4 or more questions from same institute over teams which have solved 2 questions from different colleges?

We were second in College overall and First for Gwalior Site.
Our rank was 594 Overall.
We solved three problems and we didn’t cheat but still our name is not in the selected team list.
What could be the possible reason.
Should we contact anyone?

When will we know about the site we will be going in Kolkata-Kanpur? Like will we go to kolkata or Kanpur? They haven’t mentioned anything.

Chennai results will be announced tomorrow.
Kanpur - Kolkatta Multisite about which city will be declared by today evening.

Both of then confirmed through either call/mail from regional office.

In my opinion, the method of selection of teams for Chennai site is way better than that at Amritapuri and Kolkata, as here, good teams that performed really well but couldn’t come first in their college got a chance at getting selected. I really hope that next year each and every site would have a certain amount of seat allocated to the college quota(say a maximum of 50-60%), and the rest of the teams should then be selected on the basis of the overall rank list.
