I requested to codechef that when the round is unrated for you then your rating graph should not be affected so please remove that flat rating change(+0).

Agreed. There is no reason for there to be a +0.

I thought +0 is for when you are involved in making of the contest, and u still participate

+0 would have been okay but in ranks, it shows the last rank (sometimes in thousands) which looks really bad.

Yes, We do unrated contest with some different strategy which cost which you mention above.
Thanks for reporting this. We agree that it does not look good, and will see how best to fix it.
