@admin , How will we know about the 5 randomly selected participants for the Random Laddus prize category?

(27 May '17, 14:36)

If i am not wrong, the "goodies" are now replaced by laddus.

(27 May '17, 16:33)

Do we get response on reporting a bug whether the bug is inconsistent or was invalid ?

(28 May '17, 19:50)

So, do they give random laddus? - Yes.

Do they give random laddus to 5 participants after every contest? - I don't know.

1. What does the div2 winner get?

2. Will I receive laddus for May Long Challenge div2 as an Indian challenge problem solver? https://www.codechef.com/rankings/MAY18B

(21 May '18, 08:30)

@sarthakmanna 1. Div2 winner (School student) will get 150 laddus. 2. Yes, as you are one of the top 3 Indian challenge problem solver, you will get 150 laddus (as you are not one of the winners).

(21 May '18, 09:33) 5★

@bhushan_ What if the winner is not a school student? I can't find any category in which he falls

(21 May '18, 10:46)
1

@sarthakmanna Winners will always be school students, no matter what rank they are having. So, if a person is rank 1 in div 2 but he is not a school student, he won't be a winner (though he can claim the top 3 challenge score laddus).

0 You can simply earn laddus and redeem those for the CodeChef goodies. answered 26 Jun '17, 21:07 16 accept rate: 25%
0 You need to win contests for prizes. I mean you get some "Laddus" with which you can buy goodies for free. answered 11 Aug '17, 00:31 2●2 accept rate: 0%
0 I am new here. Is there a different ranklist for Indians or if Indians come first they get the prize money? Thank you. answered 13 Sep '17, 22:30 2★algorrt 1 accept rate: 0%
0 @admin,@vijju123 i fell just top 3 school students in long challenge div 2 is low, i think top 5 might be better due to no of school students in div 2 is much higher when compared no of school students in div 1. just a suggestion(atleast for indian school students) answered 02 Mar '18, 22:50 119●9 accept rate: 5% The main incentive of this is to discourage Div1 school students from purposely falling to Div2 for prizes. I will forward it to see if numbers can be adjusted. (02 Mar '18, 23:04) Ok , still what are people going to do with 100 laddus when u get 300 laddus in div 1 and u re performance improves.i Guess those who do that are madY (03 Mar '18, 15:00)
0 This is with regard to the 100% participation. Will unrated contests like March Lunchtime 2018(LTIME58A) be taken into account for that category? I wanted to participate in it, but as it was postponed I thought would do it in the practice section. So will my participation streak be reset to zero or not? answered 02 Apr '18, 19:51 4★gomu 208●4 accept rate: 5% thanks again! (03 Mar '18, 22:30) @dhruvsomani dude, I did not have enough karma points so I asked here, I am new to codechef , what do you want me to do? (03 Mar '18, 22:39) I think he wanted you to delete this question once you asked it independently for better health of this thread. :) (03 Mar '18, 23:34) 1 I had talked with @admin about this the moment this issue occurred and persisted for over 10 minutes. No, it will not be counted, even if it were rated. Contest being unrated for other reasons may be included however. (02 Apr '18, 20:36)
0 For obtaining 100% attendance participation reward, can a user's participation streak start from Cook Off or Lunch Time? Or will it start from the beginning of the month, i.e., Long Challenge? For Example: If a user is participating regularly from June Cook Off 2017, then can he get 100% attendance participation reward for June Cook Off 2017 to June Long Challenge 2018? Or will he get it for July Long Challenge 2017 to June Lunch Time 2018? answered 25 May '18, 13:05 329●2●10 accept rate: 21% 1 No, read again. It clearly states that you must do all the 3 contests for 12 months. (27 May '18, 10:33) avi2244★
0 Does this mean that user is eligible for cash prize only if he has been in the Top 2 in past? Or he will get equivalent extra laddus for this? And if a user has been in the top 2 in div2. And then in the top in Div1 because is not a first timer so he is eligible for cash? answered 11 Sep '18, 11:20 2.7k●1●6●18 accept rate: 10%

0 Hello, I ranked fifth in the recent February Cook-Off 2019 Division 2 and by admin's response to this question, 50 laddus are awarded: Division 2: ... IN MONTHLY COOK-OFF CONTESTS ... For Global participants Top 5 from ranklist will receive 50 laddus. Additionally, they get bonus (Bonus = n - contest rank) where 'n' is 6 for short contests. However, there are no laddus present when I go to the CodeChef goodies page: https://gyazo.com/01cf162ba3d3021588599dc591e1f436 . Is this a bug, or is there a delay, or am I misinterpreting the prize description? Thanks answered 20 Feb, 20:33 1 accept rate: 0% @husker_du, Admin will award laddus of plagiarism check. For ur information, even January lunchtime laddus have not been awarded yet. (21 Feb, 13:26)
