In the practice problem COLLISION IN SPACE, what will happen when either ther Earth or one of the asteroids reaches the edge of the 2-D plane? Do they go out of the plane, or do they start over again from the other end? I know the former should be the case most probably, but I just thought I should make sure.

Since it is not mentioned anywhere in the problem statement that the asteroids start over again, you can assume that they go out of the plane.
