Challenge Hunt - [redesigned and updated] Chrome Extension for active & upcoming coding contests and hackathons

##Challenge Hunt

Challenge Hunt featured in the daily top 10 on Product Hunt!

Hi all!

We all love to participate in programming challenges, don’t we? The only problem is that we are often not aware about the numerous online programming challenges that happen regularly. So, I, Sukhmeet Singh and Chirrag Nangia felt the need for a place where we could see all the programming challenges from multiple platforms. Thus, Challenge Hunt happened!

Challenge Hunt is a chrome extension which has the following features:

  1. View all active and upcoming:

    • Coding contests
    • Hackathons
    • Data Science challenges
    • Hiring challenges
  2. Set reminders on upcoming challenges so that you don’t miss out on any challenge.

  3. Set your preferred online challenge platforms and Challenge Hunt will show you challenges from only those platforms.

The code for the app is open source. If you like it, don’t forget to star it.

You can install the extension from here: Challenge Hunt - Chrome Web Store

It have some bugs in time conversion. For example :
Infinite Loop codechef:

Contest Details:

  • Duration: 2 days, 12 hours
  • Start time: 23rd April 2015, 1100 hrs IST
  • Ends time: 25th April 2015, 2300 hrs IST

in EET (my Time Zone):

  • Start time: 23rd April 2015, 7:30 am EET
  • Ends time: 25th April 2015, 7:30 pm EET

in Plugin :

  • duration: 2 days -> that is wrong, 2 days and 12 hours
  • Start time: 23rd April 2015, 7:30 am EET ->OK
  • Ends time: 25th April 2015, 8:30 am EET -> that is wrong, 7:30 pm

great work guys…nice add-on…i have added it and find it really useful…awesome job
