There is no privilege in terms of karma or gaining the coins on the codechef. It’s just show your reputation and how well you are performing in comparison to other ones.

But hey! They give a nice vibe to some stranger looking at you.

(PS: Again, what I said above was an situation with behaviours I expect/imagine. Things, thinking and etc. may and will vary from person to person.
