Dear Contestants/Coaches
Greetings from ACM ICPC Asia Gwalior Regional Contest site (ABV-Indian
Institute of Information Technology and Management, Gwalior).
We are pleased to inform you that your team has been qualified for ACM
ICPC Asia Gwalior-Pune Onsite Contest 2018, which is planned to be held
between 17th – 18th December, 2018 at Gwalior and Pune. Your team
registration at Baylor site has been promoted to Asia Gwalior-Pune
Regional Contest Site from first round online contest to onsite contest.
Please go through the following instructions for the onsite contest:

Complete your team’s online registration for onsite contest
between 5th December – 12st December, 2018. If the number of seats
filled in one location then rest of the team will be selected for other
location (Number seats in Pune is 51 and Gwalior is 76).
Must fill the following google form: (Link Removed.)
- Pay your registration fee Rs. 3000 (three-member team) for the
onsite contest preferably through NEFT (DD is not acceptable) before 12th
December 2018. No cash payment option for IIIT Pune site teams. Foe
Gwalior site those how are unable to pay the registration on or before
12th December, they can complete the payment option by paying cash on 17th
December 2018.

Bring the proof of the NEFT payment during your visit for onsite contest.

All of you must bring your Institute ID and Aadhar card for
verification during Onsite contest. -
Free Hostel accommodation with bedrolls and food will be
provided for 17th and 18th December, 2018. You can book in advance the
hostel accommodation for extra day on payment basis (Rs. 600 per team one
room per day accommodation). (pay in Cash) -
Your final registration for the onsite contest will be from
1:30pm-4:00pm and 5:30pm-8:00pm on 17th December, 2018 at ABV-IIITM
Gwalior / IIIT Pune. -
On 17th December at 4:00pm-5:30pm a practice session will be
held at the contest venue. -
Inauguration function will be held from 6:00pm – 7:00pm on 17th
December followed by dinner. -
Tentative timing of main contest will be from 9:30-2:30 pm and
Prize distribution at 5:30-6:30pm on 18th December, 2018. -
Please bring sufficient winter clothing (for Gwalior site), one
set lock & key and mosquito repellent. -
As per ICPC norms a cookbook (programming materials) of maximum 25
pages (front size 12 pt) is allowed; So please prepare the same bring a
hard copy and send (optional) it to icpc@iiitm.ac.in with subject <Team
Name – cookbook>. Please send only pdf document for this purpose. -
Book your train tickets by keeping in mind the foggy weather
conditions of north India. -

1) Now according to mail 1 we are allotted a site which is fixed for all of us.
While, according to mail 2 we will get it as “first come first serve” (if my english is not so poor/if I am not wrong).
$-Now, most of the contestants will have booked tickets of flights/trains/bus and now they say its not final and will be allotted according to payment.
-$Gwalior site has Cash option while pune has only online payment option
So gwalior people can fill form very fast as they can select that site and paying option as cash.
Pune people can’t.
2) They shared this mail today and google form link is open(which has option to select cash payment at gwalior site on 17th)… and they say we can register from 5th… so does that mean we can’t register today ?
PS: they don’t reply to mail.
Can anyone solve my queries ?
If site selection is first come first serve than it’s totally a wrong thing from their side.
