How did you start competitive programming, and what helped you stay consistent?
I started competitive programming as a way to improve my problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and coding confidence.
In the beginning, solving even simple problems was challenging. I often got stuck and didn’t know how to approach a problem. Over time, I learned that consistency is more important than solving a large number of problems in a single day.
What helped me stay consistent was:
- Practicing problems regularly
- Learning from problems I couldn’t solve
- Understanding the logic instead of memorizing solutions
- Revisiting topics where I was weak
- Setting small daily goals
- Participating in coding contests
- Tracking my progress and trying to improve gradually
I’m still learning and improving every day, and I would like to know from the CodeChef .
