"I want to ask a question" - Ask them all here!

You dont need this thread to ask question, you have enough karma to create one on your own. Just asking for confirmation- You want this answer to be converted into an independent question?

Stars are awarded on basis of your ratings. More ratings=more stars= meaning the user did well in contests

If the Q dont come within 24 hours, i will upgrade it into a question

According to the Buddhist belief Karma is that whatever you do comes back to you, e.g. if you do something good, something good will happen to you, and vice versa.

For more info.

Firstly- The input given in problem is just an example. Real inputs are much trickier.

Secondly- Please give a link to your submission so that we can have a look at what you did.

I will upgrade it into a question once you insert the link to your submission

They usually have.

Agreed. Since the contest is more for school children, it should have more easy questions (not cakewalks tho).

I am converting this into a question, but please see that we cannot use multiple slots for same question (esp. by a single user). Not only this hinders proper funneling of information, it consumes a slot which might better serve for someone else’s question. Hope you will keep this in mind next time!

Thanks.

This is against the rules.

Accept rate is the % of answers (of that user) which got accepted by other users. Accepted answer means the answer satisfied the query of the one of who asked the query and rewards the answering user with karma.

Ratings can take time sometimes, while at times they are done instantaneously . Snackdown is elimination rounds are not rated afaik. Lunchtime, Coofoff and Long contests are rated, and any external contest which they declared as rated. All other contests are unrated.

Agreed. Should have more easy questions for the beginners.

Thank you for the feedback. We do try to make the problem set balanced, and we’ll improve.

But taking statistics from a contest which was stopped mid-way seems a bit weird. Of course the first problem is going to have a disproportionate number of ACs, because unfortunately, the contest got disrupted very early into the contest, and most participants would have just submitted the first problem. This is not to claim that the problem set was perfect, but just saying that the evidence put forth seems off

Again, we apologize sincerely for the mess, and hope you enjoy solving them in practice!

This question needs more details to be complete.

modification of which code? The code given in editorial, or “modifying and debugging my code to help me fetch AC” ?? OR any other interpretation?

If solved in practice, they should be added. If during contest, then i am not sure (although answer inclines to a no). Anyways, its more of a question you should ask via mail to admins.
