yeah efficiency fetches you more score @viaan. And I think it also acts as tie breaker.
In a cook off, even if you solve the same number of problems, the rankings table also takes the time taken into consideration. SO, someone who solves the problems in lesser amount of time will have a higher rank, and will enjoy a higher increase in ratings.
