10 th November is fine.
Only two options that is most of them suggested --> 2nd or 9th November .
finalize the date quickly so that we(contestant) can schedule diwali plans .

yes…2nd is the best option as most of the students would have booked their diwali tickets according to this date and by 9th or 10th we will be going back to our colleges so the journey date may clash with the contest date
