Yes, it really takes 1 year. They panelised 2018 plagiarism just 3 months before. You shouldn’t expect to happen this before February atleast

Please check the submissions from this institution. A lot of them copy paste each other codes. Some accounts have all AC in one shot.
Yes one of them even “sold” solutions on this telegram channel Telegram: Contact @codechef_long_solutions. I’ve already reported it few days ago.
Let’s be honest. There’s no point in believing in code-chef with those matters. Their system is f***ed up and so is codechef

So guy’s i have noticed that from past few months there are rise in cheating during long challenge.
And I found that the main reason behind that is the Youtube channels posting Solution videos, few are fake, few are real , some of them are explaning solution with code, some of them are just explaning question and we can see in comments that the person proudly saying i am just explaning question to beginners ( Even understanding the question is part of solving it).
From past few months i was knowing this Youtube stuffs but i was ignoring it but this time the video is out on first day itself.
we know that few people get the solution from their friends but we can not do anything for it, but we can do somthing to this fake youtube Coders.
we just have to come together and Report this Youtube Channels and also tag the codechef admin so that even codechef should take strick action against them.
Do not just report the video but also report the Channel so that we can stop such things.

I was told that this would be more appropriate to post in this thread rather than in its own thread. After the November Challenge 2020, I wanted to see how others solved the UNSQUERS problem, since I has having issues with it during the competition. When I took a look at the solutions, I noticed that most of the accepted solutions were using virtually identical code, even down to spacing and newlines (there are more examples, but I’m just limited to 10 links in a post).

I witnessed it also, and was shocked when I saw C++ submissions with 100% results, almost all were same. Because of these cheaters, our actual ranking and rating would be higher, its a shame.

Is there any chance that codechef is going to take quicker strict actions against cheaters? For how long others will pay for not cheating in the long challenges by reducing their ratings while the cheaters’ rating climb higher and higher.
What is the update on MOSS? What was the last contest that was scanned?
