Today we got the certificates from ACMICPC on our ICPCID about honorable mention and kanpur region prelims rank . The rank in certificate shows 99th place while our rank in kanpur ranklist was 106 , we were 6th in waiting list also . Are we qualified or not ? we haven’t recieved any mail for on-site registration . What is the rank in certificate shows ?

Contact RCD, they will clear your doubts in a better way. Anyways, my friend @anon79211377 had similar doubts like yours, their certificate shows they have secured 95th place but they are still on no. 7(currently 2) in waiting list.

They said its some sort of school rank when I called the rcd. Pretty sure he wasn’t able to explain the whole school rank case to me.

There was a school round on codechef for students to appear in icpc so i think they selected some candidates from that round and added according to their selected regions.
Anyway if you get any updates regarding the same please inform us.
