August cook off 2020 Rank issue

I participated in the August cook-off challenge. I even solved 3 questions out of 5 well within time.
I got 1700th rank. I was obviously surprised but I had to accept as it was my 1st cookoff challenge.

Recently I came across this profile codeverything | CodeChef User Profile for Tirthankar Bhattacharya | CodeChef (this guy is totally random. Idk anything about him.) He also solved the same 3 problems in the challenge and His rank is 194. I can agree that ratings will be different for everyone but how can the rank be different?

Is there anything that I might be mistaken?

In case of draws, ranks are decided by total time penalty.
