There is no use in particular…they are just for your contribution in discuss.

will I get anything for my contributions?

If your contribution is helpful to community and you earn hearts from community, your name will be on Top contributors list as on the Codechef Home Page. I’m not sure whether top monthly contributors get any laddus or something.

Once, top contributors were given laddus. But this has been removed few years back.
