I participated in today’s BEST_VS_BEST contest. Will CodeChef increase my rating based on today’s performance or is it just the long challenge and cook-offs which can improve one’s rating? (I’m new)
If yes then how much time it will take to see a change in my ratings

How to check wether external contest will effect rating

To answer your question, we will specify in brackets whether it will be rated or not. Eg- Moscow workshops had (Rated for all) in its heading/name on future contests. By default, assume external contests to be unrated unless specified otherwise. Hope that helps.
