Definitely something a bit odd going on here: I think the Ratings increase is fine based on what he solved, but his Ranking & Score are wrong: at the time of writing, his score is 0(?) and his Ranking is 15000+, as the OP says:

Oh i just realised, partially solved, he got hit by moss.

In that case rating update is right or wrong?
It’s right only, now if he loses his appeal, he’ll lose 500 rating.
