I am attempting challenge problem for the first time.
I am totally confused with its scoring and ranking in the rank list.
So can someone explain the ranking based on scoring of challenge problem.
Please let me know if it is inappropriate to ask during contest.

Its not.
The formula is just the minimun sum of the area someone has made by your sum of area *100.
So say if the minimum sum someone has made is 15 and you make 18 you’ll get 15/18 *100 =83.333 points
