PROBLEM
After a very long time, the Chef has a vacation. Chef has planned for two trips during this vacation - one with his family and the other with his friends. The family trip will take X days and the trip with friends will take Y days. Currently, the dates are not decided but the vacation will last only for Z days.
Chef can be in at most one trip at any time and once a trip is started, Chef must complete it before the vacation ends. Will Chef be able to go on both these trips if he chooses the dates optimally?
QUICK EXPLANATION
Chef can only complete vacation if the total number of days required to complete both trips, which is the sum of the number of days to complete the trips, is up to the total number of days available.
EXPLANATION
Chef has Z days out of which he must devote X days to his family trip and Y days to his friends’ trip. We need to check if the number of days is sufficient or not.
The minimum number of days in which the Chef can complete both trips is X+Y.
So all we need to do is to check if X+Y is less than Z or not.
The following snippet reflects the intended solution.
read X, Y, Z
if (X+Y <= Z)print(YES)
else print(NO)
TIME COMPLEXITY
The time complexity is O(1) per test case.
