From 2:55 to 3:00 PM IST codechef gave 500 bad gateway error and I wasn’t able to submit my code for challenge problem for which I was involved from continous 10 hrs.

Same here , i also tried , i think my net was slow , but its the problem of codechef.

During the last 5 to 10 mins for every challenge codechef has a high load . Many people try to submit in a short period of time so problem occurs . You can face the problem during short challenges.
