Codechef vs Codeforces

Hello!
I am a beginner. I am confused between Code forces and Code chef.
I do not like Code chef’s rating system.
I also don’t like math.

If you want to code more frequent in a more competitive environment codeforces is the better option. If you want to code less and learn to debug and all then codechef is better. One more thing to notice codeforces have a super fast rating system, while codechef takes 10s of days.
Since you are beginner you should give some time and then decide which is better for you and stick to that. And also very basic maths is required in the beginning so you can start.

It used to take days, but after the recent rating reworks it should take less than a day to update. Probably around or below 1 hour.

Don’t limit yourself to only 1 platform. Personally I used Codechef, Codeforces, Atcoder and Leetcode for contests. I mainly used codeforces to solve problems outside of contests. But I never stuck to only 1 platform for that.

Generally, solve the problems that you think help you the most.
