Is there only one interview for both digital and ninja via codevita?? unlike nqt we had to give two exams one was for ninja and today was for digital so through codevita only one interview is there for both the profiles??
seems like it was different for different region
i had only one interview which had 3 panelists
based on ur performance they assigned posts
this was told to us b4 interview
How much rank did u got in Codevita? and yes ur region as we are eagerly waiting for the results
Anyone from Bangalore region got any mail today?
No Harshit, waiting for the results eagerly.
i dont remember
but why you guys are judging selection based on ranks
theres much more things beside ur coding skills
like projs, communication skills, presentation skills, presence of mind etc
most of the good coders in CP sucks at design principles and database queries
if you think that being 5/6 star coder will earn you job then you hav no idea abt outside world
@sahai_harshit not targeting you
read above posts
people are literally blaming TCS coz they think they are bias in selection
am frm mumbai
i had interview on 31st
You don’t have to be hardworking to work at TCS.They just hire everyone.
That’s probably because idea of competitive programming to you and to most mainstream IT companies is different. Theirs involve reading and understanding problems which are basic implementation made difficult by the broken language used to describe the problem. While you are used to very technical and clear questions which are difficult to solve because you have to think of a fairly new algorithm.
Exactly… TCS does nothing that requires actual competitive programming skills. It requires decent communication skills and extreme confidence in yourself which made you believe you’re a competitive programmer by finding maximum in an array in the first place. I have no idea why these companies use competitive programming as a source of recruitment when its clear its not required at all but maybe they don’t realize that. The side effect is the overall decline in the quality of CPers due to inclusion of people who has no interest or talent what so ever in problem solving but are just in it for the job.
and not a single one, there are lot’s of companies are doing the same thing they are recruiting users through coding tests and then don’t care about their problem solving and coding skills because actually they nothing have to do with them, this is just like mass recruitment XD
anyone from delhi zone ?
