Deleted old account to have new username. Should I email Codechef?

Hey,
I deleted my old account at Codechef because I wanted to have a new username. Immediately after deleting the old account, I created a new one with the same email address. Should I inform Codechef by email that I use the same email address with my new account? Or can I now use my new account without any worries?

you could have changed your username in your profile:

I don’t think CodeChef will care about that. Use your account and if there is ever an issue, contact them and explain the issue like you did here.
