In the previous IICPC contest they run MOSS since it was a huge event and my rank dropped from 500s to under 100.
More than 4/5th people above me were cheaters. According to this logic after every reroll there should be massive rating change. Most of the times there is no rating change after reroll. Sometimes a +1 at max.
Either they are not doing MOSS properly (Since IICPC was a grand event it was properly done here?) or the rating recalculation is happening incorrectly.
Everyone knows there is more cheating on CodeChef than on Codeforces. Still I see significant rating change after reroll on Codeforces. Someone explain the math.
@emperor100 please brother so something, i have never gained a plus 1 after rating recalculation please take it seriously and do it in best way possible
yeah I was talking about my overall iicpc rank.
Even if you only consider div1, You can’t deny that CodeChef cheating is WAY worse than Codeforces still I don’t remember getting any delta from some rollback.
You should start manual checking like CodeForces.
In IICPC after MOSS my overall rank was 200. Then they did manual checking and my rank got to 75. It means MOSS Is not that effective right. And the people who have managed to get to Div1 have probably found ways to avoid MOSS that’s why I hardly get any rollback delta in Div1.
Manual Checking might sound like too much work but it should at least be done in Div. 1 if you want to maintain crediblity of platform rating. It would hardly take 1 hour to go through every Div1 top ranker.
