May be u r finalist or ur college is not in tie up with infosys, as yesterday college gave us a list of selected stydents and one was a pp.

bhai jo infosys ke tieup mai the unko colg se pta lag gya , baaki colgs ka pta nhi vaise but mail toh aana hi chaea

My roommate gave his interview for DSE, and got a SE offer. So, I guess PP->DSE must also be possible
I got selected for dse and I gave for PP although my friend got PP so yes
