Depends on where you are lacking. Are you lacking in framing and understanding recurrence? Usually a good knowledge of classical problems helps some, while others dive into recurrences itself to understand them. (Eg- You might wanna read first chapter of the book “Concrete Mathematics.” It does open up your view on making recurrence relations &etc)

Hackerrank 30 days of code or C++ section was pretty good. Or just try solve/resolving problems in C++. I learned it on the fly, looked at the problem, made a formal description of my requirement, saw if it existed in C++ or not and learnt that way.

Ok this is weird.
My record is 16 sec and I used to average(when I left speedcubing) 25-30 sec
