Invitation to C-CODED 2022 -KarmaTek Syntaxia

KarmaTek, GCECT in association with CodeChef GCECT Chapter, are proud to present KarmaTek’s one and only competitive programming contest C-CODED.
If you are an enthusiastic coder waiting for an easy opportunity to show off your coding skill, this is the right place to do it.

Prizes: There will be separate prizes and goodies for Winner and Runner Up for both Group A and Group B (Check Rules and Regulations to know the grouping).

Timing: 29th and 30th of April 2022.
Contest can be started anytime between 10:30 A.M. to 1:30 P.M on the above mentioned date.

Duration: 2.5 hrs from Start Time.

Task: You will be given 4-5 algorithmic problems to solve within 2.5 hrs. The platform is Codechef.

Rules and Regulations:

  1. Undergraduate college students of any years and high school students are allowed.
  2. Participation as a team or as an individual is allowed. Each team can have a maximum of 2 members.
  3. Entry Fee is the same for both individual and team participants.
  4. Teams will be divided into two groups (Group A and Group B).
  5. Group A - Teams consisting of School students or 1st Year College students.
    Group B - Teams consisting of 2nd Year+ College students.
  6. One Winner and one Runner Up will be selected from each group.
  7. If there are two winners in a group, no Runner Up will be selected.
  8. Any team with members from two different years will be considered as Group B.
  9. The participants will have to bring their College ID card for verification & identification if they participate in Offline Mode. Otherwise, they have to mail their ID Cards before the contest.
  10. Same participant cannot be present in more than one team.
  11. Inter-college teams are allowed.
  12. No offline IDEs will be provided. Teams will have to use the online IDE provided by Codechef. However, white sheets will be provided for rough work.
  13. If participating in Offline Mode each team will be allotted a single Computer only.
  14. If participating in Online Mode only one CodeChef account from a team will be granted access for the contest. The other participant has to manage on their own.
  15. Participants are not allowed to have access to books, internet, external drives or mobile phones or any such similar aids during the onsite contests.
  16. In case of any unsolicited events or violation of the above rules, the decision of the coordinator will be deemed final.
