Good Luck!

The contest was announced as rated up to <2500, but ratings affected even above 2500.

Does Codechef publish editorial of contest?

Hello ,
This looks like a temporary bug in CodeChef’s rating calculation system.

  • If the contest was officially announced as rated for <2500, then profiles above 2500 should not be affected.
  • Sometimes the rating script accidentally updates everyone’s ratings.
  • Don’t worry :rocket: — CodeChef admins always fix such cases and roll back the wrong updates.

:point_right: You can keep an eye on the official announcements here:
:link: CodeChef Announcements

So if your account was above 2500, the ratings will be corrected soon :white_check_mark:.

Yes :white_check_mark:, CodeChef always publishes official editorials for every rated contest.

  • On the Contest Page → Open any problem → Check the “Editorial” tab.
  • You can also find all editorials collected here:
    :link: Contest Editorials on Discuss

:pushpin: Note: Editorials may not appear immediately when the contest ends. They’re usually posted a few hours later — so just wait a bit :hourglass_flowing_sand:.

Hope this helps :slightly_smiling_face: Happy coding! :computer::sparkles:
