We invite you to participate in CodeChef’s Starters 208 , this Wednesday, 15th October, rated up to 6 stars (i.e. for users with a rating < 2500).
Time: 8:00 PM — 10:00 PM IST

Joining us on the problem setting panel are:

Written editorials will be available for all on discuss.codechef.com . Pro users can find the editorials directly on the problem pages after the contest. The video editorials of the problems will be available only to Pro users.

Also, if you have some original and engaging problem ideas, and you’re interested in them being used in CodeChef’s contests, you can share them here .

Subject: Appeal Regarding Plagiarism Penalty – Starters 208

Message:

Dear CodeChef Team,

I recently received a notification stating that some of my submissions in Starters 208 were found to be similar to other users’ solutions, and my rating has been penalized. I would like to respectfully appeal this decision.

I want to clarify that all the code I submitted is my own work. Any similarity with other solutions is purely coincidental, as the problems often have standard approaches and algorithms that may lead to similar implementations. I have been learning and practicing independently, and I have not knowingly copied any code from other users.

I kindly request you to review my submissions again and consider reinstating my submissions and rating if possible. I assure you that I will continue to follow the CodeChef Code of Conduct and avoid any unintentional similarities in the future.
