Is it possible to retract a performance on a Long Contest?

I know that if you submit a solution for a problem, you are automatically up for a rating change. However, I was wondering if it is possible to retract a performance on a contest; meaning, I’d like to make it so it looks as if I never participated in the contest so my rating does not get hampered.

I’m asking this because on the first day of the long contest I submitted and got MAXDIFF. However, I had almost no time whatsoever to work on any of the other problems this past week. Usually, I solve about 3-4 problems, so I expect that my rating will go down.

Is it possible to do this?

why do you care so much about your rating? You should be solving problems regardless of the decrease or increase in the rating points. The only thing that will help is solving more problems, not accumulating points every month.
