I would like to report a possible issue with my rating calculation. I recently participated in the contest held on January 22, 2025, where I solved five problems, the most among all participants in my division. However, despite this performance, I was not promoted to a higher division.
Additionally, I noticed an inconsistency in my rating. My current rating is 1372, while my highest rating is shown as 1404. This does not seem possible because I have only participated in two contests. My first rating was 1063, and after the second contest, my rating became 1372. So, I am unsure where the 1404 rating is coming from. If 1404 was my revised rating for the second contest, then it should also be reflected as my current rating, which is not the case.
My main concern is that my rating does not seem to have increased as expected based on my performance. When I solved my fifth problem, which was one of the highest-rated problems in the contest, my rating only increased from 1365 to 1372, which seems too low considering its difficulty.
Could you please look into this and clarify if there was any issue with my rating update? I would appreciate your assistance in ensuring that the rating system reflects performance accurately.
