But Microsoft may turn out to be like Goldman Sachs.
I mean selection on Random basis irrespective of deserving or not deserving, like in this, they’ve selected students with code’s time complexity O(N) where N is 1e9.

I am one of them. The que was not making sense when they were asking to find $10^9$th fib number without modulo.
Hence I wrote O(n) and commented about optimal soln
Btw do you know anyone who got call after giving exam on 29th ?

I don’t know the question, but as u say, it was without modulo, then, it’s their fault, O(N) is quite good

That fib related question could be solved in O(1) time complexity. A pattern is there that can be solved using a formula.
