Yup, I think this is the case, cause I took enough time so that I can reduce even my O(NlogN) to O(N) in each solution where I got succeded a bit, thinking that the judging criteria would be on the basis of neatness of code and time complexity. I didn’t had an Idea that time would be considered as well.
Same here.
I thought I have time then why not use it and make my code better.
My observation :- The higher your rating, the lesser the chances of good companies selecting us

They even don’t mind with brute force solutions and good coders waste time in optimizing it.
Its not due to time taken that a lot of people who did all 3 questions are not selected. My reference told me they maintain a list of colleges from which they would hire even in off-campus drives. One of my friend got selected even after taking more time than me because he is at Bits Pilani.
For some reason, I did indeed have a Reply box open for this thread - must have spasmed and accidentally clicked on a Reply button
Then idk why do they invite us for test
Just add list of colleges in eligibility criteria. Why to waste time of people.
Camus pe bhi na aao, off campus me bhi… huh
And the irony :- They wrote at multiple places that no one will be discriminated on basis of college , gender, etc.
during the selection process.
They even mentioned that previous criminal record is okay if you have served your term.
BIGGEST LOL
That’s the reason why I’m reducing it to lower 5 star
I have observed that only 2-3(stars)/unrated star guys get internship at good places. Pure observation, something is odd.
Kuch toh gadbad hai daya
wish that was always true!
One of my friend got mail from MICROSOFT that u r selected for interview and will schedule telephonic/skype interview.
When did he receive that email ?
Had he given test on 29th? Or 22nd? I think those you gave test on 29th are scheduled first for interview…
5-6 days ago… She is the only one in NIT RAIPUR… I also solved fully 3 problems but didn’t recieve mail.
Lol true I’ve seen that a lot as well XD
I once got rejected because i wrote the most optimal code in written round , while others got selected by writing the brute force code . From then I always write brute force code in interviews and optimize it when asked to do so
has anyone got any response from microsoft regarding the test??
Same here, I too have done all the questions within 40 minutes.
