I was pretty excited that Codechef might make the long challenge unrated. Maybe I’ll remember the feeling of getting AC on a problem after days head banging. But after the new update on long challenge my brain burst. I can’t fathom why codechef would take such an unnecessary step. But oh well Codechef will be Codechef.
P.s. - I lied my ex doesnt exist ;(

I heard about lot of cheating in long contest. I guess to rectify that, they’re doing this.

I don’t see what the problem is even if cheating happens. If I have gotten to 4* with having absolutely zero problem solving experience in May 2020, so can you. Honestly, if people spend the same time they spend thinking about cheaters, on improving their skills, you will reach a level where you won’t need to care about there being cheaters.

maybe too much time to cheat in such contest, best to make them unrated those who enjoy problem solving will still give but some motivation will be loss definitely. I personally enjoy short challenges more.
