Hi all, I recently pushed my website live and made it using Elementor in Wordpress. I added a Favicon using custom code in the Elementor > Custom Code section, but the Favicon still hasn’t appeared in the Google search results, despite having been live for a few weeks now. Instead, it’s the default Elementor ‘E’ icon.
The code I used is the string Google suggest which is:
I replaced “/path/to/favicon.ico” with “the URL of my image in the media library” and clicked to upload to my site’s head section. The image is a PNG which I understand is acceptable according to Google and it’s 48px by 48px.
I’m not sure what is preventing it from appearing? I understand it can take a few weeks to appear, but I believe I have done everything correctly and according to Google Search Console, my site seems to be getting crawled every few days.
