Hey dude, completely unrelated question. You have shown consistent increase in performance over a long term, your growth is very impressive. I’m kind of lost on what to practice for codechef, the practice section is pretty bad. What resources did you use to practice and learn new topics?
The CSES problemset CSES - CSES Problem Set - Tasks is a great resource for anyone looking to level up.
Take a look at codeforces.com, they have a lot of great questions.
It is designed to be this way so that new accounts can get to their deserved rating as soon as possible and not skew rating calculations for other users.
This could be interpreted as a way to stop smurfing.

Except it promotes smurfing. My account is old, and I have a bunch of so-so performances back from over five years ago. I recently had to participate in 10+ starters to raise it from 5* to 7*. It would’ve been faster for me to register a new account. Some of my friends with comparable performance went from 0* to 7* in 5 or 6 rounds.
