if i solved 4/10 problems in a challenge and didn’t tried rest of them .in case 2 -i solved 4/10 problems and 6/10 gave me wrong answer or some out of 6 . My rating will be same in both cases or not ?if not then please explain how it works for partially solved and wrong answer problems.

Your rating is not directly affected by the number of problems you solved. It only depends on the rank you achieved in the contest (which obviously depends on your score and thereby on the number of problems you solved (partially). WAs might affect your rank in Cook-Offs when ties are broken.
