Rating Changes after removal of Plagiarised Solutions

It’s an important question which almost everyone in the community wants answer for so please don’t ignore this post.
Are ratings are not updated after removal of plagiarised solutions or the solutions of cheaters ( because of them we end up getting bad ranks) ? Here I am talking about the ratings of genuine users who don’t cheat.

And one suggestion it would be better if ratings are updated after the removal of cheaters’ solutions just like in codeforces.

We are not prioritizing that right now, as the differences aren’t huge. We will do a bulk rejudge after a few months when our rating systems have been made more efficient.

@admin Its been 2 years now and in almost every recent contest there are 100s of cheaters affecting genuine users ranks and rating when will we get the rating we deserve according to rank after removing cheaters?

So this is broadly the flow now

  • 3 days after the contest - all cheaters are sent emails so they can appeal
  • 1 day before the next contest - all ratings are dropped + previous contest ratings are recalculated.

All in all - before you participate in the next contest - everyone already has the rank / rating that they deserve.

I have never seen the re-calculation part the rating what we get 1 hour after the contest remains the same till next contest irrespective of cheater removals.
