idk i solved a lot of questions in the previous contest and yet my rating fell 131 points , although i started the contest a bit late but i solved more questions than usual . the next morning it was showing more than 1400 but today I saw all the questions i solved are vanished from the side bar and rating has fell down .
why did this happen ??

yeah it depends upon your rank. If u rank better in the contest your rating will increase else it won’t.
