Rating doubt

I have attempted only one question and submitted only one time in February Lunchtime 2021…and it was a runtime error…hence i did not attempted later.After the contest ends…my rating was 1453 which dropped to 1383.How is that possible??

If you submitted means you officially entered the contest and were on the scoreboard with a score of 0. This means you placed very low in the contest, and hence your rating dropped.

Yes, This means you did attempt the question and failed to clear test cases, so you are now part of the contest.
