I am new to Codechef and wanted to know if all the contests in which we participate affect our Rating on Codechef or just the Lunch Time, Cook Off and Long Challenge.

Only Cookoff Lunchtime and Long Challenge. Also sometimes there are externally rated contests, so they too count
