I recently received a plagiarism penalty for my submissions in Starters 231 (Rated), and I would like to seek clarification and request a review from the community and moderators.
According to the notification, some of my solutions were found to be similar to other participants’ submissions. However, I would like to state that I solved the problems independently and did not copy or collaborate with anyone during the contest.
I understand that in competitive programming, especially in contests, it is common for multiple participants to arrive at similar solutions due to standard approaches, common logic, or well-known algorithms. I believe this might be the reason for the detected similarity in my case.
I respect the platform’s rules and Code of Conduct and would never intentionally violate them. If required, I am willing to explain my approach or provide a detailed breakdown of my solutions.
I kindly request the moderators to re-evaluate my submissions. Any guidance or suggestions from the community on how to handle this situation would also be greatly appreciated.
