In recent contests, including the last Wednesday contest, several top-ranked users were banned for plagiarism, but their ratings are still counted and no recalculation has been done. This affects genuine participants since ratings are relative.
Plagiarism checks are good, but ratings should be revised after bans to ensure fairness. Regular or post-plagiarism rating recalculation would make the system more trustworthy.

This is the case for every contest. There are hundreds of cheaters each time and never have the ratings be adjusted afterwards
