Don’t get me wrong, I love number theory and discrete mathematical structures but this is just going too far. I feel like core algorithmic / data-structure content is missing. Where questions like Chef Ingredients asked solver to be really creative, it was so combinatorics central. Do let me know if you all feel the same.

I think this long focuses on mathematics 
I agree. I was able to solve the first 5 questions within two days. I could barely solve two questions in the previous long challenges. I think CodeChef wanted to test us on our observation skills and core mathematics knowledge for a change.
True…we would learn a lot more if they include different topics.
