Statement meaning of ratings and rankings

"If there are multiple peak rating or peak ranking months, Chef was to consider the
earliest of them."

What is the meaning of this statement, does it mean if a player has peak ratings in 1st, 4th and 6th month then we will check that its peak rating matches with peak ranking only in the 1st month?

PS- I’m just trying to find the meaning of this line not saying that the statement is incorrect.

It means if player had ranking 2 in end of month 2 and ranking 2 in the end of month 3 then you need to consider month 2 for comparison with peak rating month.

It means what I said is correct? We’ll only check for first month when they had peak rating and ranking?
