Stuck with 1 star for a long time now, I am able to solve upto 5-6 questions out of 8 on an average in division 4. any advice on how to move improve this rating?
most probably you should participate regularly, see the solutions/editorials and try to think about what you missed during the contest.
Then before seeing the editorialist code, try and solve that problem yourself.
keep iterating like this and you should be able to think through most of the stuff and you’ll become better
