Exactly… A similar error happened in the last contest and they went ahead with it being ranked. They are not paying proper attention to the expected load on their servers probably otherwise there is no chance that the servers will go down in two contests in a row.
Codechef is not what it used to be.

I don’t know what CodeChef is upto but this decreases the seriousness of giving contests and affects the performance drastically.
CodeChef should look into this as this happens in almost every short contest.
