Suggestions on standings/ratings for new comers

Just like how codeforces provides no standings for new Div 3 participants, Can codechef really do more or like the same for new comers?

Because the new comers who perform really well (solve’s >= 6 or 7 problems) are the Div1 participants (who are >= 5stars)
(OR) the one’s who did codeforces/spoj and using the codechef for the first time and more LIKELY they will continue.

  1. Can they be awarded with only ratings (and) remove them completely from standings for minimum 2 contests such that the actual/real participants will have proper standings table.

Example : October long challenge Div2 scenario

You can read it here : Example Div 3 post : Codeforces Round #590 (Div. 3) - Codeforces

As stated in the blog

" Remember that only the trusted participants of the third division will be included in the official standings table. As it is written by link, this is a compulsory measure for combating unsporting behavior. To qualify as a trusted participants of the third division , you must:

  • take part in at least two rated rounds (and solve at least one problem in each of them),
  • do not have a point of 1900 or higher in the rating."

Yup, I know. Most of the chinese grandmasters/masters of Codeforces, etc. come for the first time in Div-2-Long. And top-50 spots are always filled with them.

The irony:-They never come to Codechef again.

Everytime its some completely new account.
