Timings of April Cook-Off contest

Hi all! I am a newbie here.
I learnt that the timings of April 2021 Cook-Off are 930 pm to 1200 am. But why are the timings so late into the night?

I don’t think there is a specific reason for this. They didn’t mention any reason here. I think they are following it because it is feasible for everyone to participate.
